What if the recommendation is not to build?
That is a legitimate outcome of the service, and the cheapest one. The decision record explains what was assessed and what would have to change for the answer to be different.
Do we need the h|ve Platform?
No. The service works on its own and the artifacts are yours in an open format. Integration with the platform is an advantage where it exists, not a prerequisite.
How long does it take?
It depends on the complexity of the process being assessed, which is why the fee is fixed across three levels. A deadline promised before the scope is known would be a guess.
